It tows pretty nice...but I certainly would not go any heavier with the Tacoma. When that trailer is fully loaded up with all of the camping necessities (water, hot dogs, rum....rum...and rum), it can struggle to keep the speed up going up hills. But it does tow it and it actually does a pretty good job of it.
