Since I have had such good luck with my football betting lately.....I have gone ahead and made another wager. My brother-in-law Owen gave me a shout tonight to let me know that he was cheering for #1 Oklahoma in tonight's BCS National Championship Game. I, however, have full confidence in #2 Florida, led by College dynamo QB Tim Tebow.
As a result, we have agreed on a friendly wager very similar to the one I made with John Fraser last weekend - except this time, we are using Facebook as a medium. Whoever's team loses the game will have to post "(Owen/Chris) BOWS TO THE GREATNESS OF (Owen/Chris)" as their Facebook status for a full 24 hours.
As of this writing, the game is scoreless after one quarter. However, Florida does have the ball and is down to the Oklahoma 26 yard line, so hopefully they can punch in a TD to take the lead. Just as a side note, Florida (although they are #2 ranked) are actually 5 point favorites heading into this game.
